1. Scope and third-party platforms

If you open Prayer AI from a third-party app or website (for example, a TikTok profile link or in-app browser), that platform may collect information under its own privacy policy. We do not control how TikTok or other platforms process data about your use of their services. This policy describes our practices on our site and infrastructure.

2. Information we process

We do not require you to create an account. Depending on how you use the Service, we or our service providers may process the following categories of information:

• Prayer generation inputs. When you use the prayer generator, the preferences and text you submit (for example, recipient type, healing category, tradition, and style) are sent to our servers and to our cloud processing provider to generate a prayer. We design the Service so that this content is used to fulfill your request and is not used to build a personal profile on you. Retention is limited to what is needed to operate the Service and protect against abuse.
• Analytics and product metrics. We use privacy-conscious analytics (PostHog) to understand aggregate usage—such as which steps of the experience are completed—so we can improve the Service. These events are not intended to identify you by name; they may include technical information such as device or browser type and coarse region where available.
• Security verification. We use Google reCAPTCHA (Invisible) to reduce automated abuse when generating prayers. Google may collect certain data as described in Google’s policies when reCAPTCHA runs.
• Payments. If you choose a paid option (for example, a prayer document download), payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card number on our servers; Stripe processes payment information subject to Stripe’s privacy policy.
• Browser storage on your device. The Service may store data locally in your browser (for example, to show your generated prayer on the next screen, or to remember a contribution amount during checkout). This stays on your device unless you clear it.
• Communications. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Protect the Service from fraud, abuse, and security threats
• Understand aggregate usage and product performance
• Process optional payments and deliver purchased materials
• Respond to your inquiries
• Comply with applicable law

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your prayer text for targeted advertising.

We and our providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary for the Service to function, for analytics as described above, and for fraud prevention (reCAPTCHA). You can control many cookies through your browser settings.

We rely on trusted infrastructure and service providers (for example, hosting, cloud processing, analytics, payments, and security). They may process information only as needed to perform services for us and are bound by appropriate contractual obligations where required.

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Server logs and analytics may be retained in aggregated or pseudonymous form for a limited time for security and improvement.
